FFScouter Volunteer

FFScouter is a free tool. To make some of our newer features possible, we need volunteers to submit Public API keys to us to allow the system to gather non-critical information which enables those features. By submitting your API key here, it will not be used to gather information about you - it will only be used to gather public information about other users (see below for full details).

By submitting your key, there is no benefit to you, and no detriment to you. You can remove your key at any time. You will just have my eternal appreciation making this tool possible for the whole community.

Terms and Conditions

I understand FFScouter will make API requests to Torn using my API key to obtain the information set out on this page. These requests will only be for publicly available information about other players (as defined in the Torn API documentation), and may be made up to 10 times per minute. If the terms of this service change, my key will be deleted and I will be required to accept the new conditions before it will be used again. I understand my key will be used to obtain data which will be used to create chaining/target lists for other users of FFScouter. The information of other people will then become public, and FFScouter has no control or knowledge how it may be used by third parties. I understand that by volunteering my API key to FFScouter, I am contributing to this shared pool of information of other people, and it conveys me no advantage over other users of FFScouter, nor provides them with an advantage over me. I can remove my API key from FFScouter at any time by deleting or pausing the API key in the Torn API Settings page. At the next occasion when FFScouter attempts to update your data and Torn's API indicates your key is paused or deleted, your key information will be deleted from the volunteer pool. Remove Your Volunteer API Key

Warning: This action does not remove your data from the main tool areas - this form only removes your API key from the volunteer pool.

As we do not store which data was gathered using your API Key, there is no way to remove information gathered about other players using your key. We do not use your public API key to gather any information about you, except to verify that the key is valid and set to the correct access level.
